Richard Hnyda - CAPTAIN TEMPEST
Richard is currently studying AS
level in Music, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. This is his
first ever part in a show as he is usually found in the pit
playing the French horn. Richard has enjoyed the challenge posed
by the part of Tempest and hopes to go on participating in
future productions. |

Jonathan Jones – PROSPERO
Jonathan is in his last year of
Porthcawl, studying A Level Music, English and Drama. He plays
the bassoon for the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, also
completing his grade 8 last summer. He hopes to attend the Royal
Welsh College of Music and Drama in September. Jonathan has
loved playing Prospero, as he believes it is the perfect
character. |

Rhiannon Owen - MIRANDA
Rhiannon is currently in year
13, studying 4 A levels including Music, which she hopes to
pursue at university. She is a keen singer, working at grade 8.
Rhiannon has taken part in many school productions since year 7
and is thrilled to be playing the part of Miranda. She hopes you
feel "good vibrations" in tonight's performance! |

Sarah Milligan – ARIEL
Sarah has performed in every
school show and this is her ninth she has taken part in. She
loves playing the part of Ariel even though she hasn't skated
before. She enjoys all manner of performing arts and is training
for her Grade 5 ballet exam. She would like to wish everyone
good luck and hopes you enjoy tonight's performance.

Tom Wills - COOKIE
Tom has performed in many school
shows, however found himself with his first major part in last
year's production of 'Godspell'. His interests include football
and currently plays for Porthcawl Youth and 3rds. Also, in his
spare time, he enjoys rugby and tennis. He has enjoyed taking on
the role of Cookie and hopes you enjoy the show.

Rhian Hughes - SCIENCE OFFICER /
TANYA HYDE (Navigation Officer)
Rhian is currently studying BTEC
Performing Arts. This will be her last school show and she is
delighted to have a principal role. Her previous roles include
Lucy Harris in 'Jekyll and Hyde'. She is also studying at
Diploma level in singing after achieving her grade 8 musical
theatre last summer. Rhian hopes to go on and study singing and
acting in university next year. |

Nia Williams-Jones - SCIENCE

Officer)
This is Nia's first production
since joining the school. She found it challenging in not only
having to learn the script but also, getting to know her new
cast members. Nia has performed in many productions and played
lead in 'Summer Holiday' and 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. Nia
would like to become a drama teacher |

Joshua Hames - BOSUN
Joshua has been in many school
shows since year 7 and loves performing on stage. He is
currently in his last year of his BTEC Performing Arts course
and is thoroughly enjoying it. He also enjoyed playing the role
of Utterson in 'Jekyll and Hyde'. He is also looking forward to
performing his last school show with his friends Jonathon and
Luke. |

Luke Davies – BOSUN
Luke is currently in year 13
studying for his A levels in Music, computing and English. He is
also Head Boy for this academic year. He is an avid supporter of
the performing arts department and plays at a grade 6 level on
percussion. This is Luke's final year and hopes you enjoy
tonight's show as much as he has performing it. |

Michaela is currently studying
Art, Music, Physics and Chemistry at AS level. She has performed
in every school show since primary, taking many lead parts in
previous performances. |

Rachel Jenkins
For Rachel, the most challenging
element of this show has been remembering the dance routines.
Over the years she has played many different roles including
Grace in 'The Vakees' and Nancy in 'Oliver'. |

Rhian Hopkins
Rhian is currently in her last
year studying performing arts. She has enjoyed rehearsals,
though found it challenging, but hopes it will be a great
success. She wishes the best of luck to everyone. |

Laura Bryce
Laura, a member of Bridgend
Youth Theatre, is in year 11. She has passed her grade 8 in
singing Musical Theatre. She says good luck and thanks to
everyone involved in the show. |

Charlotte Hatchett
Charlotte is in year 11 and this
is her fourth school production. Charlotte is a member of
Bridgend Youth Theatre and is sitting her diploma in Musical
Theatre next month. |

Megan David
Megan has performed in every
school show since year 7. She enjoys performing very much and is
doing GCSE Music and Drama later this year. She hopes you enjoy
tonight's performance. |

Jodie Lunnon
Jodie is in year 11, studying
GCSE drama. She has performed in many shows and concerts, taking
lead roles and has done TV and voice over work from a young age.

Sophie is currently in year 10
and has been in the last three school shows. Sophie enjoys drama
as much as watching shows. Sophie hopes you enjoy the show as
much as she has taking part. |

student studying Performing Arts. She's a keen dancer and finds
